Okay, so as mentioned in the last post, we've been doing a video clip for a local band. It's part of a prize package that they won in a contest that we sponsor (we're one of many sponsors).
Anyway, the clip was meant to be done in the middle of last year, but there were many delays and setbacks all over the place. People getting sick, schedule conflicts, tours, blah, blah, blah.
Then this last long weekend we finally got around to filming. Had to use a hire camera since the our gear is in Sydney at the moment. The idea was to film in Friday night, check the footage, film anything else that was needed on Saturday night and then edit on Sunday and Monday.
The shoot itself was pretty quick, but spent most of the day Saturday trying to get the data off the camera and onto the computer. Took the camera around to a mate's place and checked it there - nada. Turns out that the firewire port on the camera don't work.
So spent Monday sitting around twiddling the ole' thumbs and then on Tuesday morning returned the camera. The hire place was pretty nice about it and they are transferring the footage onto HDD for us.
I'll be picking it up tomorrow, so we'll see then how the saga continues.
