Finally arrived, at my new home away from home (at least for the next few years). It still sucks to be away from my family for extended periods of time. But now that I'm here at least it'll be a bit more established and it'll be easier to organise time at home to be with my family.
It's August and so far this year, I've only had one week at home, in April. Too long away from my wife and the kids. Hoping I can get some time at home soon. The sooner the better.
Other than that, it's good to be up here away from the icy cold of Melbourne. Though I think I might be regretting that when summer rolls around.
