Sunday Morning

A quiet night at home last night. Wasn't falling asleep on the couch this time though, not like the night before when I was on the couch watching the telly with the family and *thunk* head against the wall.

That was pretty amusing, no pain in the morning. Have a list of things to get on with, so need to prioritize and work out what is most important. Then get on with that.

Long Weekend

It's a long weekend. Which would normally be a good thing. I have a salaried job so I don't have to go to work but I still get paid.

Sadly, my wife is working night shifts, which means she's asleep during the day and so I can't do anything or go anywhere with her.

Which sucks. :(

Valentines Day 20143

Well, I for one am happy. This year I asked a lady to be my Valentine and she said yes. I got her a nice gift she liked, she got me a nice gift I liked.

Granted, it's a bit of a cheat since she is already my wife. But I can honestly say that I married my first ever Valentine. How many people can say that.

Admittedly, things are a little tough at the moment. With her working nights it means the kids and I have to keep quiet during the day so she can sleep. But I am confident we'll get past it. Things will be better if I can get some mine work. She won't have to work as much and we'll be able to get the house paid off faster.

Fingers crossed...

Nearly Valentines Day

Wow, time sure does fly. It's already February. Doesn't seem like that long ago since all I could think about was looking forward to the wedding!

Have been settling nicely into my new life with my wife and her kids. There have been a few problems of course - this is to be expected when two people with such different personalities start living together.

But it has been good and it is getting better. Life is good.

Start of the new year

It's now 2013.

Been married now for nearly four months and i couldn't be happier. Don't go on the internet much and have been neglecting my sites. And that really does not bother me. Spending time with my new family is much more important than being on the computer.

Hope everyone is having a good new year. I'm still alive and kicking (not that anybody really cares) but I'm spending my precious time with my family.

Three weeks

It's getting closer! Down to the three week mark, each day is another day less.

The biggest issue right now is getting all my stuff sorted out. Thrown out lots of my stuff which has been piling up over the years. Sadly, some of the stuff I've had to throw away has been useful stuff or at least it was potentially useful - but I won't have the space or the ability to use it soon. I've also sold off a lot of stuff including nearly all my computers. I'll be downgrading to just having the laptop.

I'd rather have a bigger, more powerful computer - but lack of space is an issue. Also, I'm not going to be doing any video editing or playing high end games anytime soon, so there isn't a real need for it. It'd be a luxury item, and we will have more important things to spend the money one.

Out of the seventies

Another day down, more days yet to go. Counting down towards the wedding and we are out of the seventies and down to the sixties.

Dang, over two months left to go. Seems so far away...

Dang, just over two months left to go. So much left to organise and get ready. Not sure we'll have enough time.

In other news, the fuel pump in my car was leaking. Got it fixed and now there is no more petrol smell in my car. And my fuel economy has gone way up. Yay.
